How do I place a ButcherHouse Cuts order?

Orders can be placed 24 hours per day, seven days per week through www.RRProvisionCo.comWe accept payment by Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, or ButcherHouse Cuts e-gift certificates.  

 

How soon will I receive my order?

Most of our products are custom cut-to-order and therefore may have a 1 - 2 business day processing time after you place your order. We strive to process our orders quickly, but our focus is always on the quality of the product. Depending on the FedEx shipping method, you will receive your product 1 to 3 days after it ships. We ship Monday through Wednesday, with deliveries on Tuesday through Friday.

 

How do I track the shipment of an order?

When we ship your order, we will send you an automatically generated email that includes your tracking number with a link to track your order. Or go to www.FedEx.com to track the progress of your package.

 

Do you offer in-store pickup?

Yes, just indicate in-store pickup when placing your ButcherHouse Cuts order. All orders will be available for pickup at the R & R Provision Co. Retail Outlet Store located at 1242 Northampton Street, Easton, PA, 18042. Get directions here.

 

What is the best way to thaw my product?

R & R Provision Co.'s ButcherHouse Cuts products should always be thawed slowly in the refrigerator in their vacuum-sealed packages. This is the safest way to thaw food and allows it to retain its natural juices and extraordinary flavor. Steaks usually take 15 to 18 hours to thaw. Medium-sized items usually thaw within 24 hours. Large cuts of meat will take longer to thaw. Do not thaw products at room temperature.

If you absolutely can't wait the required time, quickly thaw your products by placing the vacuum-sealed packaged meat in cold water for approximately 30 minutes. This can help when you forget to plan ahead, but the slower thaw method is always preferred.

 

Will my order arrive frozen?

We ship our products frozen, and we carefully pack each order in a reusable insulated cooler with reusable frozen gel packs. Please inspect your package immediately upon receiving it. Don't worry if your items are not completely frozen when they arrive. If the meat is cold to the touch, you can refrigerate and cook it as normal or refreeze it for future use. The meat should read below 40F degrees with an internal meat thermometer. Refrigerated items should be enjoyed within 5 days of refrigeration.

 

Can my package sit outside once it is delivered?

We package our shipments in reusable insulated coolers with reusable frozen gel packs to maintain product quality in transit. We have tested our packaging for more than 96 hours and feel our method is the most effective. Once delivered, our package can sit for approximately 8 hours. Factors such as weather, humidity and the location of the package affect how well the packaging holds up after delivery. We suggest you bring your package indoors and refrigerate or freeze your items as soon as possible.

 

What do I do when the package arrives?

Immediately after you receive your order, inspect the contents and refrigerate or freeze perishable items as soon as possible. Save the reusable insulated cooler and ice packs for your next tailgate, beach outing or party.

 

Do you offer personal and corporate gift selections?

Yes, we have several package options, or you can make your own by selecting unique combinations. Simply list the recipient's name and address in the "Ship To" section of the ordering page. For gifts, we suggest you supply us with the recipient's email address so we can let them know that a perishable gift will be delivered to them. If you do not wish to supply their email address, please be sure to let them know a perishable gift is coming their way. We also give you the opportunity to add a gift message that will appear on the enclosed packing list.

Corporate Gifts to employees and clients are a nice way to say thank you. We have several variety packages, or we can help you curate a selection of your own. Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! We offer ButcherHouse Cuts e-gift certificates in increments of $50 and $100. These e-gift certificates can be shipped free to your recipient's email address. ButcherHouse Cuts e-gift certificates are nonrefundable and are good for orders placed online through RRProvisionCo.com.  ButcherHouse Cuts e-gift certificates cannot be used at the R&R Provision Co. Retail Outlet Store or through the R&R Provision Co. wholesale business. Buy an e-gift certificate here.

 

When will my credit card be charged for my purchase?

Your card will be processed when you place your order, and your statement will show a charge from ButcherHouse Cuts/R&R.

 

Why are some of my selections brown in the vacuum-sealed packaging?

We vacuum-seal our products immediately after cutting to preserve them and help retain their flavor and juices. When meat has been vacuum-sealed it is not exposed to oxygen, which can cause the meat to look brownish. Once you thaw the meat and open the vacuum- sealed packaging, the meat will be exposed to oxygen and will turn red or "bloom."

 

Should the packaging be removed before cooking?

Yes, our vacuum-sealed packaging is for preserving our products and ensuring that they arrive to you in excellent condition. Please be sure to remove all packaging before cooking.

 

What happens if I provide an incorrect shipping address or find other errors on my order?

If you realize you supplied us with an incorrect address or made other mistakes on your order, please contact Customer Service as soon as possible. If the order has not been shipped, we can normally fix any incorrect information. If the order has already been shipped, we will be unable to correct your issue. Please be sure to check all information for accuracy before finalizing your order.

R & R Provision Co. will not be responsible for any incorrect addresses provided to us at the time of your order. Our products are perishable, and shipment is time-sensitive, so we cannot reroute deliveries once the products are shipped. Delivery, return and redelivery charges will apply.

 

How long will the products in vacuum-sealed packaging last in the freezer?

Your ButcherHouse Cuts will probably be eaten well before you need to worry. However, our vacuum-sealed products can be held in the freezer for as long as 6 months. We recommend using our products before this time for the best flavor and quality.
